WINIFRED THOMAS

Winifred Morgan Thomas, 95, Pocatello, a former Malad resident died Monday at the home of her daughter in Pocatello.

She lived in Brigham City and as a young girl, moved to Malad. She married Dan J. Thomas in Malad, June 22, 1910. They made their home in Pocatello and in 1939 they moved to Salt Lake City, UT. They lived there until 1956 and then they returned to Pocatello. Mr. Thomas died May 10, 1962.

She was a member of the LDS Church and held various positions during the years.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne M. Thomas, Malad; Lynn M. Thomas, Macon GA; a daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Roberts, Pocatello; six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; two half sisters, Hazel Pritchell, American Falls; Gertie Reid, Jerome, and half brother, Ken Morgan, American Falls.

Services will be Friday in the Benson Horsley Funeral Home in Malad. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
