EVANS, WILLIAM RONALD, July 21, 1939 – July 26, 1985

William Ronald “Ronny” Evans, age 46, of Brigham City, died July 26, 1985 at the Brigham City Community Hospital after a long illness.

He was born July 21, 1939 at Malad, Idaho, a son of William W. and Katie Waldron Evans. He was married to Linda Bessenger. They were later divorced. He was married to Rose Marie Petersen, January 12, 1979 in Brigham City.

He was reared and educated in California and Malad, Idaho.

He had worked as a sheet metal worker for the Union Pacific railroad and as a carpenter in the Brigham City area at the time of his illness. He was a member of the LDS church.

Survivors include his wife of Brigham City, one son, Billy J. Evans, Tremonton, UT; one daughter, Becky Gaye Evans, Bountiful, UT; his mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. James D. Frazier of Brigham City.

Funeral services were held at Petersen Funeral chapel with Bishop David Morrell officiating. Burial was in the Brigham City Cemetery.
