Mr. Evans was born here August 5, 1879, a son of William T. and Ann Jones Evans. He married Eliza Adams November 23, 1897, and they farmed here until their retirement several years ago. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors are his widow; six sons and daughters: Carlos A., Dale A., Malad; Lynn A., Pocatello; Mrs. Ray (Ann) Nelson, Weston; Mrs. Herbert (LaVena) Bowles, Pocatello; Mrs. George A. (Mary) Lewis, Malad; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Hugh J. Evans, Malad; Mrs. Dave (Mary) Daniels, Arco; Mrs. Reese R. (Margretta) Jones, Los Angeles, CA
