EVANS, WILLIAM GORDON

William Gordon Evans, age 44, died at his home in Garden Grove, CA, December 2, 1969 of natural causes. Funeral services will be conducted at Malad LDS Stake Chapel Saturday, with Bishop Conrad Alder officiating. Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to service. Burial will be at the Malad City Cemetery.

Mr. Evans was born at Malad, April 25, 1925, a son of Daniel Kniveton and Sarah Jane Jones Evans. He married Flora Lyle Mills at Malad on March 8, 1946. A graduate of Malad High School, he worked here with his father and brother for many years in the construction business. He and his family moved to California in 1963 to make their home. He was a member of the LDS Church, American Legion and a veteran of World War II, having served in the Air Force.

Surviving are his widow, two sons and two daughters, William Kenneth, Timothy Gordon, Mrs. Dennis (Pamela) Greer, Teresa Ann, all of Garden Grove; mother, Malad; one brother, Daniel J., Las Vegas, give sisters, Mrs. Mae Williams, Mrs. Warren (Kate) Edwards, Mrs. Bland (Ardelle) Williams, Malad; Mrs. Lewis W. (Anna) Jones, Logan; Mrs. Orlin (Myrle) Hess, Long Beach, CA.
