WILLIAM PALMER

William Palmer, age 94, died Friday at Preston

William Palmer, 94, Preston, and a former Holbrook resident, died Friday [May 9, 1975] at a Preston nursing home after a short illness.

Mr. Palmer was born Nov. 4, 1880 at Brigham City, to John and Jedidah[sic] Davis Palmer. He married Phillis[sic] Louisa Page on June 12, 1907, in the Logan LDS Temple. She died April 27, 1966.

Mr. Palmer farmed at Holbrook for many years before moving to Ogden and then to Preston. He was an LDS Temple worker and active in Preston Third Ward.

Surviving are sons and daughters, James and Mrs. Suel[sic] (Willa Gae[sic]) Murdock, both of Preston; Mrs. Homer (Ruby) Williams, Boise; Mrs. John (Ruth) Berg, Firth; Jarvis, Lavon and Douglas, all of Ogden, Utah; DeLamar[sic], Kaysville, Utah and Darrel, Fortuna, Calif.; 47 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was Monday at Preston with burial in Dayton Cemetery.
