SERVICES HELD FOR WILLIAM J, WILLIAMS
Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Chapel Flowers Mortuary in Ogden for William J. Williams, 76, who died Wednesday in a Salt Lake City hospital.
Mr. Williams was born Jul 24, 1886, at Malad, a son of David D. and Rebecca Willian Williams. He married Mary May John February 26, 1921 at Malad. He was a member of the LD Church.
Survivors include his widow, son and daughters, William Jay Williams, North Hollywood, Cal.; Mrs. Flora Ferguson, Las Vegas; Mrs. Thomas J. (Lila Jean Crookston, Sandy; Mrs. LeRoy L. (Joy) Waggoner, Roy; eight grandchildren; brother, sisters David J. Williams, Mrs. Mary Hill, (both of Malad;) Mrs. Sarai McGuire, Draper; Mrs. Eliza Rees, Ogden; Mrs. Catharine VanAble, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Margaret Ripley, New Philadelphia, Ohio; Mrs. Beatrice Kheen Whittier, Calif.
Concluding rites were conducted at the Samaria Cemetery where M. Joe Davis dedicated the grave and military honors were paid by the color guard and firing squad of the American Legion, Ernest W. Jones Post.
