Services Today For Wendy Lee Dunn

Funeral services are being conducted at Cherry Creek LDS ward today (Thursday) for Wendy Lee Dunn, age 22 months, who died Sunday (20 Aug 1961) following a car accident.

Wendy Lee was born Oct. 20, 1959, to Levi Lowell and Vona Mae John Dunn. She is survived by her parents, and a sister, Marcie Ann, Murray, Utah; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. John, Malad; Floyd Dunn, Brigham. City, and Mrs. Golda Dunn, Ogden; great-grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Ogden, Tremonton.

Bishop Morgan Harris officiated. Family prayer was offered by Lynn M. John. At the chapel, Myra Jean John played the prelude and postlude. Gerald Dunn offered the invocation and William H. Richards, the benediction. Speakers were Bishop G. E. Harris, Bishop Leo D. Williams, Bishop Quinton V. Christensen of Murray 10th ward, and Rosella Smith, who read the obituary and an original poem. Musical numbers were a vocal solo, Don Griffiths; duet, Karen Morris and Sherry Harris; quartet, Glen Morris, Sherman Gibbs, Wynn John and
Ora H. John. Accompanists were Myra Jean John and Walter E. Gibbs.

Oliver Dunn offered the dedicatory prayer. Flowers were carried by cousins and friends, directed by the Cherry Creek ward Relief Society, Mrs. Birdie Ashton, president.

Casket bearers were Billie John, Merle Dunn, Danny D. John and John R. Sharp.

Benson Funeral Home directed the burial at Portage Cemetery.
