MALAD – Venice Swenson Davis, 87, of Redwood City, California, and former Malad resident, died Monday, July 4, 1994, in Redwood City.

She was born August 5, 1906, in Logan, Utah, a daughter of Oscar Julius and Isabell Montgomery Andrews Swenson. She grew up and was educated in Malad. She married Clement A. Davis, and their marriage was solemnized in the LDS Temple. Mr. Davis died in 1983.

They had lived in San Francisco, and for the past six years had lived in Redwood City.

She was a retired sales clerk for J.C. Penney Co., and was a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Lawana Pacini and Connie Marsh; grandchildren, Craig Pacini, Barry Marsh and Dana Cappiello, and 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters Mrs. Don (Wanda) Goddard of Malad and Mrs. Lewis (Valoy) Wickham of Renton, Wash.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11, at noon in the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home, 132 W. 300 N., Malad, where friends may call for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
