

JONES, TRILVA D., August 21, 1917 – September 1, 2008
OGDEN – Trilva Daniels Jones, 91, passed away on September 1, 2008 at the McKay Dee Hospital. She had been residing at the Harrison Regent Retirement Home.
She was born in Malad, Idaho on August 21, 1917, a daughter of Daniel Owens and Annie Price Daniels.
She graduated from Malad High School and Utah State University with a BA in Education. She taught school in Cache Valley and then moved to Ogden during WWII to work at Hill Air Force Base. This is where she met her husband, Raymond H. Jones from Dodge City, Kansas, who was stationed at the base. They were married on December 7, 1945. Raymond passed away on September 15, 1997.
She was a teacher in the Ogden City Schools for 20 years and was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Educational Sorority for women.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in many positions. Her greatest achievement was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three children; Greg Raymond Jones of Roy, Utah; Janet (Benny) Baggs of Ogden, Utah and Nadine (Chris) Jensen of South Ogden, Utah. Also surviving are six grandchildren; Casey Jones (Michael) Hillyer, Christine Baggs (CoDee) Stephens, Brent (Cheryl) Baggs, Brian Baggs, Alexa Jensen and Tess Jensen, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Daniel Max Daniels and her sister Ruth Hess.
A graveside service will be held Sept. 6, 2008 at the Malad City Cemetery.
