Rose Hill Jones, 1 January 1917

Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt and good friend, Rose Hill Jones, returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 31, 2003.

She was born on January 1, 1917 in St. John, Idaho, a daughter of David and Charity Wolverton Hill. She married George P. Jones on March 6, 1937 in Ogden, Utah.

She enjoyed her role as a wife and homemaker, and was the rock that kept her family connected. No matter who stopped in, she always had a meal to put on the table. Everyone was welcome.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding various positions over the years. She has been active in the community in many different organizations.

She is survived by her five children: Marilyn (Jerry) Carrico, Mountain Home, ID; George W. (Judy) Jones, Malad, ID; Khalil (Marilyn) Jones, Idaho Falls, ID; Judy (Blaine) Christiansen, Magna, UT; Lisa Jones, Idaho Falls; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and nine siblings.
