NAVVAB-SAFAVI, TANNER ARTHUR, April 22, 1988 – September 28, 2008

Tanner Arthur Navvab-Safavi, 20, or Smithfield, passed away on September 28, 2008 in Malad, ID.

Our beautiful black-eyed baby boy came to us April 22, 1988 in Logan, UT, a son of Farzin and Lynne Smith Navvab-Safavi. He grew up and was educated in Smithfield and was a graduate of the Sky View High School class of 2006.

Tanner had planned on attending Utah State University this fall. He has lived in Smithfield, Mountain View, WY and Boise.

Tanner loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. With Tanner’s strong will and personality he made every day exciting for family and friends.

He is survived by his father, Farzin of Boise; his mother Lynne (Lyle) Geary of Smithfield; two brothers, Tyson (Sarah) Safavi of Salt lake Ctiy, UT and Hyden of Boise, ID; a sister Brittney (Derek) Tims of Mountain View, WY; one niece Baylee Tims; and two nephews, Carson and Isaac Tims, all of Wyoming; a ste-brother, Cortney (Shae) Geary of Benson, UT; two step-sisters, Mandee and Joni Geary, both of Logan, UT; grandmother Peggy Smith of Malad; grandfather, Arthur “Doc” Smith of Malad; grandmother Safavi of Tehran, Iran; and step-grandmother, Roberta Geary of Smithfield, UT.

Tanner was preceded in death by his grandfather Safavi and Grandfather Geary.

Funeral services were held October 1, 2008 in Smithfield, UT.
