STANLEY HARRIS

Stanley Harris, 75, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Magic Valley Regional Center of complications from a Stroke.

Stanley was born in Malad, Idaho, on December 7, 1929, to Stillman and Nora Thomas Harris. He was the youngest of six children.

Stanley attended school in Malad, and after graduation moved to Wendell, Idaho to live with his oldest sister, Theda Fink. This is where he met the love of his life, Marjorie Tracy, in the winter of 1948 – 1949. They were married in August of 1951 and this marriage was later solemnized in the Boise LDS Temple. Stanley and Marjorie moved to Twin Falls in 1960 where Stanley worked for McVeys & Mountain States Implement. After working for sixteen years at Krengels, he worked at Waite Electric and Nelson Building Supply before his retirement.

Stanley enjoyed working in his yard, visiting and joking with his friends, washing his truck, and taking care of his loving wife, Marjorie, of 54 years. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dean and Jack; and sister, Shirley Larsen.

Stanley is survived by his wife Marjorie; two sisters, Theda (Ralph) Fink of Burley, and Helen Thomas of Malad; son, Dennis (Dianne) Harris; two daughters, Debra (Dwayne) Tucker and Nancy Eldredge all of Twin Falls; grandchildren, Mindy (Curt) Frodin, T.J. (Emily) Eldredge, Jacob Eldredge, Monica Eldredge, Casey Tucker, and Levi Harris.

Funeral services for Stanley were held on Monday, November 14, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the 9th Ward LDS Chapel, 3155 Elizabeth Blvd in Twin Falls. Burial followed at Twin Falls Cemetery. The family requests donations be made in Stanley’s name to the American Heart Association and may be given to the Mortuary staff.
