Shirley Tubbs Jeppson, 85, joined her eternal partner on Wednesday, March 5, 1997.
She was born on November 14, 1912, in Fielding, Utah; a daughter of Joel A. and Abigail Idumia Ward Tubbs.
Shirley married Dallas E. Jeppson on Feb. 19, 1932, in Logan, Utah. He passed away on July 15, 1986.
She was a member of the LDS Church, serving as a primary teacher and as secretary of the Young Women’s Association.
Shirley’s great love in life was reading.
Survivors include one son and two daughters: Steven D. and Jolene Jeppson; Dalene J. and Duane Scothern of Brigham City, Utah; Barbara J. and Kent Gale of Ogden, Utah, 10 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and one sister: Stuart V. Tubbs of Malad, Idaho; J. DaMaughn Tubbs and Audrey T. Moser of Pocatello, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 8, 1997 at Petersen Funeral Chapel in Brigham City Utah. Interment was in the Brigham City Cemetery.
