Funeral Today For Mrs. Richards

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jane Adams Richards, 79, who died Sunday [December 6, 1953] after a long illness, are being held today (Thursday) at the Malad First ward chapel with Bishop D. Dredge Thomas in charge.

A daughter of Benjamin Nephi and Mary Ann Clark Adams. [Born March 27, 1874] Mrs. Richards was reared and educated at Malad. A lifelong member of the LDS Church, she was active as a Relief Society teacher most of her adult life. She was married to Fredrick **** Richards at Malad July 23, 1890. Mr. Richards died 17 years ago[June 30, 1936].

Surviving are one son, three daughters, Florence Bell Clark, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mary Ann Anderson and Ben A. Richards Pocatello; Carrie Delilah Anderson, Malad; also 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one brother and four sisters: Mrs. T. J. Evans and Mrs. W. J. Evans, both of Malad; Carrie Adams and Ben C. Adams both of San Francisco and Mrs. Lynn Nelson, San Diego, Calif.
