Sarah Evans Jenkins

Mrs. Evan Jenkins Called.
(29 June 1911)
The mission of Mrs. Evan Jenkins, of Samaria, upon this earth was terminated last Friday when death called her to the home of eternal life above. Mrs. Jenkins had undergone an operation at the Logan hospital at which institution death occurred. The remains were brought to Samaria cemetery Sunday, a large number of relatives and friends being present to pay their last respect to the departed.

Mrs. Jenkins came to this country from Wales about ten years ago, accompanied by her son, Phillip J. Evans, who resides at Samaria, a daughter who is now married and residing at Ogden, and a nephew, Albert Jenkins, who also resides at Samaria at present. At that time Mrs. Jenkins was Mrs. Sarah Evans, a widow. About five or six years ago she was married to Evan Jenkins.

Mrs. Jenkins was very well known in her home town, and was one of the highly respected ladies of that community. (6 June 1984)
