Services Held For Mrs. Sara P. Davis,
Impressive funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 o’clock at the Samaria meeting house for Mrs. Sara Price Davis, who died Friday afternoon (7 Dec 1945) at her home in Samaria.

Carl Evans presided. The prayer at the home was offered by Samuel Williams. The speakers were Carl Evans, W. W. Thomas, and D. M. Price. The musical numbers were furnished by Sam Davis, Margaret E. Jones, H. M. Williams and David Hughes and D. M. Williams offered the prayers.
Bishop W. T. Williams dedicated the grave. Mrs. Sara P Davis was born July 7, 1891 at Samaria, daughter of Daniel E and Mary J. Price. She received her education in the Samaria school and the B. Y. U. at Logan. She married Edgar W. Davis at Brigham, in January, 1914. To this union 8 children were born, six of whom survive. They are: Mary Tolman, Bell, Calif; Neva Davis, Huntington Park, Calif.; Stanford Davis, Ogden; Edgar J. Davis, U. S. navy, stationed at Guam; Earl and Lawanna, Samaria also her husband and sister, Mrs. Mary Anderson.
She. was active L. D. S. worker in primary, Sunday school and M. I. A.
