Sara Emma Fredrickson

FREDRICKSON, SARA EMMA, July 27, 1872 – (?), 1945

Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Emma Fredrickson, 73, who died at Moscow, Idaho, were held at the stake tabernacle Wednesday afternoon with Bishop W.W. Thomas of the Malad Second Ward presiding. The speakers were J.D. Price and Griff Jenkins.

In addition to the speakers the services included a song by the ward sisters; opening prayer, E. E. Richards; obituary by Bishop Thomas; songs by Margaret Jones and S.M. Powell; Jenkin Palmer sang and the closing prayer was offered by J.M. Isaacson. Mrs. S.A. Hendricks played the organ postlude and prelude and J. Guy Benson dedicated the grave.

Out of town people attending the services were Atty. and Mrs. R.D. Merrill and son, D.R. of Pocatello; Mrs. Elna Stephenson and daughter, Gwen, of McGill, Nevada; Mr. and Mrs. Jack E. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Jones and Miss Kathryn Jones of Pocatello; Miss Helen Lewry of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Jardine and daughter of Idaho Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Grover South and daughter, Agnes, of Logan; Miss Martha Rowlins of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. William Frodsham, Mr. and Mrs. Ola Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Barnard of Rockland.

Mr. and Mrs. John Bolingbroke, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barnard, Pocatello; Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Bolingbroke, Buhl; Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Jensen, Ogden.

Mrs. Fredrickson, daughter of Amos and Leah Jones, was born at Salt Lake City on July 27, 1872. She came to Malad with her parents in 1877 and has resided here since. She was married to Charles N. Fredrickson in 1896 and he died in April, 1935..

She was a member of the Royal Neighbors lodge and the Malad Kensington Club.

Mrs. Fredrickson is survived by two sons, Clarence Fredrickson, Paradise, Montana and Dewey Fredrickson, Malad; four daughters, Mrs. Cornelius Jones, St. John; Mrs. W.W. Jamison, Ogden, UT; Mrs. Dave Bolingbroke, Lewiston, ID; Mrs. Hale Jensen, Ogden, UT; three brothers, Ted Jones and B.A. Jones, Malad; Isaac Jones, Pocatello; three sisters, Mrs. W.C. Hill, Nuela, CO; Mrs. Mary Evans, San Francisco, CA; and Mrs. C.J. Lowry, Los Angeles, CA.
