BLACKFOOT MAN KILLED

A Blackfoot man was killed November 22, 1989 on Interstate 15, after he was ejected from his car.

The Idaho State Police said paramedics attempted unsuccessfully to revive Samuel T. Thyberg, 49, at the scene of the accident which occurred three miles north of the Malad Summit about 5:17 a.m. The man’s son, Brent, was treated and released from Oneida County Hospital.

Police said the accident occurred when Thyberg’s car went off the road, he overcorrected and it rolled once.

The Oneida County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the accident scene.
