EVANS, ROSE WILLIAMS, December 16, 1901 – November 25, 1991

Funeral services for Rose Williams Evans, 89, were held December 2, 1991 at Wiefels & Sons Mortuary, Palm Springs, California. Bishop Steven Lake presided. The obituary was given by a friend, Sally Naegel. Speakers were Stake president Douglas Kunz and sister-in-law, Mary Emma Roderick. The family prayer and dedication of the grave was given by Creighton Thompson.

Mrs. Evans was a native of Malad City (Henderson Creek), Idaho. She was born on December 16, 1901 to Edwin and Lucy Emma Green Williams. She married William T. Evans on March 8, 1928.

She died on November 25, 1991 at Desert Hospital, Palm Springs, CA, after a short illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, nine sisters, seven brothers, including her twin brother, John.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Dave Sherwood, Palm Springs, Ca; a nephew who lived with her from an early age, Edwin Cleon Dives, Samaria, ID; two grandsons, Gary Sherwood, Oxnard, CA and Scott Sherwood, Palm Springs, CA; one sister, Mattie Treasure, Downey, ID; two sisters-in-law, Mary Emma Roderick and Elva Williams, Malad, ID; numerous nieces and nephews.

Buurial was at Desert Memorial Park, Palm Springs.
