Romelda (Med) Sandall

TREMONTON — Romelda (Med) Sandall, 83, died Tuesday, August 25, 1992, at the Tremonton Nursing Home, following a stroke.

She was born April 22, 1909, in Stone, Idaho, the daughter of Alfred Newman and Alice Caroline Neal Robbins. She married Harold John Sandall, September 14, 1927, in Malad, Idaho. The marriage was later solemnized August 8, 1930, in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Sandall died March 13, 1984.

Mrs. Sandall lived her childhood days in Stone and Snowville, her family moved to Tremonton so the family could attend Bear River High School.

She and her husband owned and operated a ranch in Park Valley. Mrs. Sandall boarded and cooked for the road crews, who worked on the road from Park Valley to the Nevada boarder.

She was a member of the Tremonton 7th Ward.

Surviving are two daughters and one son and their spouses, Bev and Shelden Cannon, Tremonton; Carol Lee and Louis Douglas, Howell; Jay H. and Judy Sandall, Tremonton; 11 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Rayola Richardson, Salt Lake City.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, August 28, at 12 noon at the Tremonton 1st and 7th Ward Chapel, with Bishop Robert Brems officiating.

Friends may call at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 N. 1st East in Tremonton, Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.
Burial in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
