ROBERT (BOB) D. JONES

Robert (Bob) S. Jones born in Ogden, Nov. 2, 1959, died Sept 21, 2005 in Malad, ID. He was 45 years old.

He is survived by his mother, LaVon S. Jones; his siblings, Beverly Miller, Betty (Jim) Barney, James W Jones III and Don (Ria) Jones, Bonnie Jones; his children Adam and Elana and his nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, James W. Jones Jr.

He attended several schools in Northern Utah.

He was a certified hunter safety instructor. He worked for Thiokol, Profit Foods and Weyer-Livsey Construction until he became disable. He also worked in sales, security, and as a “roadie” for music groups. He liked to make people smile and laugh.

His hobbies were rodeos, amateur and CB radio. He was a member of the Utah Box Elder Thiokol Amateur Radio Club. His CB handle was “Champion”. He liked to volunteer in various community projects such as Peach Days and emergency simulations.

He enjoyed hunting, martial arts, motorcycle riding and electronics. His favorite cartoon character was Snoopy.

He will be interred in Malad City Cemetery on Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. Viewing at noon at Horsley Mortuary in Malad.

Memorial services will be held at Ogden 49th Ward, 4210 S. 300 W. Riverdale, Thursday Sept. 29th from 10 to noon.
