Richard Lawrence Thomas, 72, died June 22, 1965 in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment. He was born April 14, 1894 in Malad, ID to John R. and Sarah Owens Thomas. He married Alice Barnett, September 10, 1914 in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was a retired foreman of Kennecott Copper Corp., a High Priest in the Ivins LDS Ward.
