RHODA THOMAS

Rhoda Ellen Thomas, 97, died March 3, 1982 in the Bannock County Nursing Home.

She was born November 17, 1884 in St. John to James and Anna Sorensen Larson. She grew up and was educated in St. John. She married Clyde Thomas in Malad in 1911. They lived their entire life in St. John and Malad, where the family farmed for many years. Mr. Thomas died in 1949.

She was a member of the LDS Church and the Native Daughters of the Idaho Pioneers.

She is survived by two sons, D. Worth Thomas, San Marcos, CA; and Jim Thomas, Mountain View, CA; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the Benson Horsley Funeral Home in Malad with Bishop Gordon Griffiths officiating. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
