Rhoda Elizabeth Froerer Farrell, 12 October 1905

HARRISVILLE – Rhoda Elizabeth Froerer Farrell, age 96, passed away March 6, 2002 at her home in Harrisville, UT of causes incident to age. She was born October 12, 1905 in Eden, UT to George Froerer and Ane Oline Rosenkilde.

Rhoda married George Chester Farrell on August 5, 1926. He passed away on September 16, 2001. George and Rhoda had celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary last August.

Rhoda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Stake Young Women’s Organization, a 27 month mission in the Ayr Scotland Branch and an 18 month mission as a temple worker in the London England Temple. She was a temple worker at the Ogden Temple for over 12 years.

Surviving are her children, Mary Sadler, Donald R. (Gaylene) Farrell, Leanna (Dale) Brinkerhoff, Michael O. (Sherry) Farrell. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Helen Stoddard, Mary Hansen and Joan Ussing.

Rhoda was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters, two brothers, two sons, Marvin and Robert, one daughter, Jana Lee and a son in law.

Funeral services will be held March 11, 2002 at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
