Raymond Facer (Birth 13 Sep 1899/Death 9 Jan 1994)
Raymond Facer, 94, chose today, January 9, 1994 to take his journey home.
Born September 13, 1899 to James Alma and Rozilla Dalton Facer in Cherry Creek, Idaho. Born into a large family; he was the third of 14 children. In a home filled with love he learned to give of himself and of his love. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church. Ray was raised a farmer and sheepherder and after his move to Salt Lake in the early 1950’s, his love always stayed with the land.
He is survived by his very close friend and confidant, Lillian Carlson; and his adopted family, Richard (Blanch) Edmunds, Gayle (Harry) Garrett, and Ken Edmunds; grandsons, Rick (Debby) Garrett, Ron (Joni) Garrett; granddaughters, Linda (Allan) Moore, Sue (Michael) Terrell; and 15 grandchildren; sister, Melba Lewis; brother, Evan (Mattie) Facer; many nieces and nephew throughout Idaho and Utah. He is also survived by Dee Facer and Jospehine Prigmore, locations unknown. Three granddaughters, Patty, Debbie and Judy. Four sisters, seven brothers, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 1994, 2 p.m. Redwood Memorial Estates Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
