Neva Mary Gleed Facer, 75 of Pocatello, passed away Sunday, Dec. 4, 1994, in a local medical center following an extended illness.
Mrs. Facer was born May 28, 1919, in Wheelon, Utah, a daughter of Alexander Gleed and Audrey Fidella Bowcutt Gleed. She attended schools in Malad, married and lived in the Malad area until moving to Pocatello in 1941.
She married Keith W. Facer Feb. 20, 1937, in Malad. Keith preceded her in death in 1983.
Mrs. Facer was a fabulous cook and enjoyed sewing. She liked to go fishing, and enjoyed ceramics.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include four sons, Norman Facer, Anchorage, Alaska, Jerry Facer, Dennis Facer and Ricky Facer, all of Pocatello; one daughter, Karen Rumsey, Pocatello; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jim Gleed, Malad, Merlin Gleed, Bloomington, and Dean Gleed, Logan, Utah; and three sisters, Fern Moser and Betty Hoops, Bountiful, Utah, and Jewel Paterson, Bellevue. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Odell Facer, her parents, three sisters, June Stokes, Gladys Hendricks and Darlene Fowler, one brother, Dale Gleed, and two grandsons, Chrissy Reed and Rick Facer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. in the Alameda LDS Stake Center, Jefferson Avenue and East Alameda Road. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave., Pocatello, then at the church on Thursday for one hour before the services. Interment will be in the Malad City Cemetery, Malad.

Funeral services for Neva Mary Gleed Facer, 75, who died Sunday, Dec. 4, 1994, will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. in the Alameda LDS Stake Center, Jefferson Avenue and East Alameda Road. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, Dec. 7, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. Fourth Ave., then on Thursday at the church for one hour before services.
