Cryptside services were held at the Chapel of the Chimes in Santa Rosa, California, Friday, September 26 for Bea Morgan, the last surviving child of Thomas and Rhoda Louise Jones.
Mrs. Morgan was born in St. John on December 31, 1897 and died in Santa Rosa, September 21, just three months short of her 100th birthday.
She moved to San Francisco in 1923 and in 1924 married Warren R. (Billy) Morgan, also of Malad. The Morgans moved to Santa Rosa in 1931 and made that city their home for the rest of their lives, but made trips back to Idaho and Utah almost every year to visit family and friends.
Mrs. Morgan worked in women’s fashions all of her life, and as a young girl worked in the Evans Co-op when it was a full service department store. She lived in her own home and cared for herself until she was 93, then resided in a nursing home.
