Peter Kenneth Miller, 33 died Monday, September 5, 1994 at his home in Thatcher of cancer.

He was born August 10, 1961, in Malad, a son of Herman Jr. and Christina Sparreboom Miller. He married Vonda Neal, January 23, 1981 in Malad; the marriage was solemnized in the Logan Temple, January 29, 1982.

Mr. Miller was reared and educated in Malad, and graduated from Malad High School. He attended Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City. He had lived in Thatcher for the past ten years.

Peter was employed as an electrician at Morton International and was a member of the Thatcher-Penrose Fire Department, serving as chief for one year. He helped his neighbors and friends and fixed many things for them. He was also a soccer coach.

As an elder in the Thatcher-Penrose 2nd LDS Ward, he was active in scouting, served as a Primary teacher and a Home Teacher.

Surviving are his wife, Vonda, and three daughters and three sons: Cindy Marie, Bonnie Ann, Shane Kenneth, Jeffrey Neal, Bryan Peter, and Julie Louise Miller, all of Thatcher; mother, Christina Miller, Malad, Idaho; grandparents, Anna and Peter Sparraboom, Salt Lake City; five brothers and two sisters and their spouses: Steven H. and Phyllis Miller, Tremonton; Douglas W. and Donnell Miller, Layton; Roger S. and Valerie Miller, Seattle, Washington; Howard H. and Zina Miller, Great Falls, Montana; Michael and Robbie Miller, Logan; Lynette and Gary Starling, Sandy; Linda and Stein Sandberg, West Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 9, 11:00 a.m. in the Tremonton South Stake Center, 1150 South Tremont Street, with Bishop Roland Robison, officiating. Friends may call Thursday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:15 – 10:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton.

Interment in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery.
