WIGGINS, PATRICIA NORA, September 5, 1926 – August 25, 2008

OGDEN – Patricia Pat Nora Wessman Wiggins, age 81, died August 25, 2008 at Emeritus Estates. She was born September 5, 1926 in Ogden, Utah to John Herbert Wessman and Nora Marion Miller.

Pat sang and danced her way into the lives of many from the time she was a little girl. She played her ukulele, composed songs, took dance lessons and became a dance instructor. She married Raymond Farr Wiggins March 6, 1945 in Ogden, Utah and together they taught dance in Huntsville, Bountiful, Ogden, Utah and Malad, Idaho. For over fifty years she ran a successful dance studio and trained many talented dancers.

She was a member of the National Assoc. of Dance and Affiliated Artists serving as National Vice President and President of the Salt Lake City Chapter. She won various awards and received various prestigious recognitions.

We will remember mom and grandma for Sunday dinners complete from Hors d’oeuvres to dessert; loving her many poodles and cats; doing needlepoint; going fishing with grandpa in their boat and motor home, her generosity with presents; her tapping feet and knowing that she loved us.

She is survived by her daughter Suzan W. Loveland; grandson Cody Burke Loveland (Jennifer); granddaughter TessaRae Cullimore (Kirby); great-grandchildren Brigham, Like and Eve Wenona Loveland; Kiressa Daxson and Hayden Cullimore.

She was preced in death by her husband Raymond Farr Wiggins; her parents; and a great-grandson Kimball Rae Cullimore.

Funeral services will be held August 29, 2008 at Myers Mortuary, Ogden. Interment will be at Ogden City Cemetery.
