Parley Curtis Nielsen

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Malad LDS Stake Building for a former Oneida resident, Parley Curtis Nielsen, 79, who died January 1st in an Ogden hospital of natural causes.
Interment was at the Malad City Cemetery.
Mr. Nielsen was born March 21,1889, at Alpine, Utah County, to James Christian and Annie Jacobsen Nielsen. He married Mary Ivy Lusk, Dec. 15, 1914, at Malad.
Moving from Malad to Ogden 27 years ago, Mr. Nielsen was an employee at Hill Air Force Base and retired in 1959. Prior to moving to Utah he had engaged in farming and worked as a mechanic.
He was a member of the LDS Church.
Surviving are his widow; son, daughters, Wayne Nielsen, Arimo; Mrs. John (Verna) Darrow, Castleford, Idaho; Mrs. Frank (Fern) Wright, Brigham City; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Anna Johnson, Mrs. Nina Helm, both of Ogden; Mrs. Willard (Vie_ Hess, Farmington; Mrs. Kattie McClurg, Bountiful.
