Graveside rites held here for Orville J. Sheriff, age 58

here Saturday for Orville “Jimmie” Sheriff, age 58, Los Angeles, who died December 19th in a Los Angeles hospital after a long illness.

Guy Gleed offered the family prayer at Benson Funeral Home and Robert Sheriff, the dedicatory prayer at Malad City Cemetery.

Mr. Sheriff was born Oct. 28, 1914, at Pauline, a son of Everett C. and Elizabeth Gleed Sheriff. He was married and divorced. A construction worker, Mr. Sheriff was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are his parents, Bountiful; brother, Neil L. Sheriff, Bountiful; sister, Mrs. Merrill T. (Beth) Smith, Holladay, Utah.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
