ORPHA PIERSON POINTS

Mrs. Orpha Points died July 18, funeral Wed.

Mrs. Orpha Pierson Points, age 57, died Sunday, July 18, in the University Hospital, Salt Lake City, of a short illness.

She was born Dec. 18, 1919 at Malad City, a daughter of Hemon LeRoy and Marvel Alice Hess Pierson.

She was married to Grover Points Nov. 29, 1947 at Evansville, Indiana.

Mrs. Points received her education in the Plymouth, Utah schools, and was a graduate of an Oakland, Calif. High School. She was a beautician and a member of the LDS Church; member of the Eagles Auxilliary[Auxiliary]; a member of the American Legion Auxilliary[Auxiliary], and moved to Malad in 1970.

Survivors include her husband, Malad; three sons: LeRoy David Points, and Thomas Rule Points, both Livermore, Calif., Timothy Grover Points, Malad City; her father, Oakland, Calif.; one grandchild; one brother and two sisters: R. L. Pierson, San Jose, Calif., Mrs. H.O McClurg, Macon, Georgia; Mrs. Ruth Hester, Hayward, Calif.

Funeral service was Wednesday in the Benson Funeral Home.

Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery.
