Odell Price

Odell Price, 73, of Malad, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1992, in Bannock Regional Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 11, 1918, in Malad, a son of Henry and Mary Ellen Reed Price. He was raised and educated in Malad, and attended Malad High School. He married Erma Jean Davis April 28, 1941, in Pocatello.

He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was stationed in the Philippines, He had been employed for McDonnell-Douglas in Santa Monica, California, and later had worked for 31 years for Lockheed as a flight test mechanic. After retiring in 1981, he returned to Malad, where he and his wife had since resided.

He was a member of the LDS Church and also the American Legion and VFW.

He is survived by his wife, Erma Jean Price, of Malad; one son, Gary Odell Price, Los Angeles; two daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Julie) Bogogacz, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Kevin (Mary Lynn) Daniels, Malad; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and four sisters, Mrs. Fern Price, Glendale, California; Mrs. Edith Chavez, Glendale, California; Mrs. Andy (Glenna) Espinosa, Granada Hills, California, and Mrs. Bonnie Culver, Glendale, California. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at noon in the Malad LDS Fourth Ward Chapel, Bishop Brent Evanson officiating. Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery, with mili­tary rites accorded by the American Legion, Ernest W. Jones Post No. 65.
