Newbold_Norma_11 March 1919
Our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away February 3, 2009 with her loving family by her side. She was the third of seven children born to Alma Loren and Amelia Camp Hunsaker March 11, 1919 in Malad, Idaho. Norma married R. Vernon Spencer, December 31, 1938 in Bluffdale, Utah and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
They had five children. Her eternal companion passed away January 5, 1981. She later married Wayne D. Newbold in September of 1992. Mom was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many church organizations. One highlight of her life was serving a mission in Independence, MO. Mom was always a very hard and dependable worker, she worked in the school lunch program where she was loved by many children and loved them in return.
