MORGAN W. TOVEY

Morgan William Tovey, 77, Malad City, died May 24, 1973 of natural causes at home.

He was born Aug. 14, 1895, St. John, Idaho to David W. and Mary Ann Jardine Tovey, and married Gwenfred Jones Aug. 30, 1922, Pocatello. She died Jan. 17, 1966.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Veteran of WWI, Oneida County Sheriff, 1924-28, member Oneida County Grain Growers, Oneida County School Board, 1944-48. Director Deep Creek Irrigation Co., director 1st Bank and Trust of Idaho, active in senior citizens groups.

Survivors: sons, daughters, Morgan W., Jr., Portland, OR; John D., Malad City; Roger D., Danville, CA; Mrs. Cecil (Winifred) Alldaffer, Soda Springs; Mrs. Charles (Mary Sue) Borden, Gooding; 13 grandchildren.

Funeral Tuesday in the Malad 2nd LDS Ward Chapel. Burial Malad City Cemetery with military and Masonic rites.
