MITCHELL DONAVON ROE

Mitchell Roe died March 24th [1979]

Mitchell Donavon Roe, 19, died Saturday in an automobile accident a mile north of Snowville, Utah.

He was born Feb. 26, 1960, at Malad, Idaho, to Russell Pack and Lenna Scott Roe. He attended school at Stone and graduated from Malad High School. At the time of his death he was a student at Idaho State University in Pocatello. He was a priest in the Curlew LDS Ward.

He is survived by his parents, of Stone, five brothers, Kelly, West Point, Utah; Jeffrey, Rockford; and Dennis, Hal and Eldon, all of Stone; a sister, Mrs. David (Lucinda) Nimer, San Rafael, California; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Ray Roe and Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Scott, all of Stone.

Funeral Service

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 27th in the Curlew LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop David R. Eliason officiating. Prelude and postlude music was offered by Gloria Morgan. Gloria and Jerry Atkinson gave a vocal duet “Sundown” with Gloria Morgan accompanying. Also offering vocal solos were Brent Stokes and Alden Neal.

Casket bearers were Hal R. Roe, Jeffrey Roe, Kelly S. Roe, David Nimmer, Dennis R. Roe, David Reel and Keith J. Anderson.

Burial was in the Snowville City Cemetery.
