JONES, MILTON, August 11, 1920 – January 15, 2008

Milton Jones passed away peacefully January 15, 2008 at home in St. George, Utah with his family by his side.

He was born August 11, 1920 in Malad, Idaho to Jeremiah Jones and Alice Mullen Jones. He spent most of his life in the Salt Lake City area where he attended West High School. After a tour with the US Air Force he returned to the area where he met and married Robin Reanon Sellick October 29, 1947. They had three children and were married 59 years. She preceded him in death January of last year.

Milton worked for the P. Lorillard Co. as a division manager for the Salt Lake City and Seattle territories until he retired in 1987. He enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and spending time with family and friends. His strength and determination have been an inspiration to us all. Even in the worst of situations his sense of humor could always be counted on to break through and lighten the worst of moments.

He is survived by his daughter, Jill Jones (Daniel) Logue, St. George, Utah, son, M. Scott (Sherrie) Palm Bay, Florida, brother Glen, Salt Lake, grandchildren Levi Jones, Jake Jones, Kimberly (Andrew) Decker, Casey Jones, Parker Jones and three great-great-granddaughters Sierra Jones, Kadance Jones and Ella Blue Decker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Robin, son Mathew, brother Clifford, sisters Emily Meik, Vaudis Winter and Lurene Shoemake.

Services will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary on January 19, 2008. Grave dedication and interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
