TREMONTON _ Our loving son, brother, friend, Michael B. Higley, 17, passed away from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born on April 26, 1992 in Stone, Idaho, a son of Ben and Annette Peterson Higley.
Mike was a senior at Bear River High School. He was in a band where he played guitar and was very talented in playing the drums and bass guitar. Mike’s passion for music was his life, and spending time with his many close friends.
His hobbies were playing the guitar, skating, snowboarding and “guitar”.
Surviving are his mother, Annette, Tremonton; step mother, Gloria Higley, Salt Lake City; 9 siblings, Jared, Alma and Sam Higley; Josh Morgan, Sara and Grace Higley; Krisstina, Kammie and Kassandra Egelund; grandmother, Marie Peterson; grandparents, Guy Higley and June (Charles) Neaman and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Higley, and his grandfather, Loren Peterson.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to Wells Fargo Bank for Michael Higley donations.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City, Utah.
The family will greet friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
