FOWLER, MARY ROSANNA CROWTHER, February 13, 1889 – January 12, 1978

Mary Rosanna (Rose) Crowther Fowler, 88, died January 12, 1978 in a local nursing home of causes incident to age.

Born February 13, 1889 in Laketown, UT to Edward and Mary Weston Crowther. Married Benjamin A. Fowler, June 5, 1909 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away December 18, 1959.

She was president of the Relief Society in the Ogden 18th Ward, counselor in Stake YWMIA, Mount Ogden Stake.

Survivors: sons, daughters, Dr. Joseph B. Laurens, New York; Wendell C.; Lois F. Todd, both of Salt Lake City; Della F. Neil, deceased; Norma F. Young, Westminister, CA; 22 grandchildren; 43 great grandchildren. Brother, two sisters, Junius Crowther, Orem; Edna C. Ririe, Salt Lake City; Thelma C. Lawrence, Providence.

Funeral services Monday at noon in the Douglas LDS Ward Chapel, Salt Lake City. Interment, Berg Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
