MARY JANE J. TOVEY, 56, DIED IN SLC TUESDAY

Mrs. Mary Jane Jones Tovey, age 56, died November 19, 1974 of a coronary arrest in the LDS Hospital, Salt Lake City.

Mrs. Tovey was born Nov. 2, 1918 at Malad, a daughter of Eli Benjamin and Mary Thomas Jones. She was married to Ralph Tovey, Jan. 9, 1940 at Malad.

Mrs. Tovey was a graduate of Malad High School and of the Beauty Academy at Pocatello. She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are her husband, Malad; a son and two daughters, Gerald Tovey, Mrs. Eldon (Joan) Neilsen, Malad; Mrs. James (Marilyn) Mansfield, Pocatello; mother, Malad; seven grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Edison Jones, Faye Jones, Mrs. Thomas F. Thomas, all of Malad; Mrs. Jink W. (Norma) Jones, Rigby.

Funeral services will be held Friday in the Malad LDS Second Ward Chapel with Bishop Gordon Crowther officiating. Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery.
