Funeral Wednesday For Mrs. Richards

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ann Richards, 69, who died June 16,[1951] at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jean Willoughby, with whom she had made her home for the past 3½ years, at Woodland California, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Samaria chapel with Bishop Car* Evans presiding. The prayer at the home was given by Walt Williams; invocation, Bishop Lars Anderson; Benediction, Bud Williams; Jessie John played the prelude and postlude and Margaret Laws accompanied the musical numbers which consisted of duet, Mrs. Wanda Napier and Mrs. T. A. John; duet; Leah Waldron and D*ll Price; solo, Don Williams; violin solo, Fern Willie, Bishop Carl Evans gave the obituary and Sam Williams, John Roderick and President S. A. Hendricks were the Speakers. Bishop Dave Hughes dedicated the grave. Mrs. Richards, the daughter of the late Levi S. and Elizabeth Waldron, was born February 28, 1882 at Samaria where she received her schooling and made her home except for the past 3½ years. She was married to David James Hughes in 1901 and a year later received her endowments in the L.D.S. temple. To this union * children were born, 6 of whom survive. She was maried in 1916 to Elias C. Morse to which 2 children were born, one of whom is still living; and in 1919 she married Edward D. Richards to which 5 children were born and are all living. She is survived by the following sons and daughters.
