MARTHA ALICE WILLIAMS RICHARDS

Services Friday For Mrs. Richards

Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Martha Alice Williams Richards, 89, at the Malad Fourth Ward LDS Chapel, 1 p.m., Friday, June 26th, with Bishop J. Arthur Servoss officiating.

Mrs. Richards died Saturday morning [June 20, 1964] in a Bremerton, Wash. hospital after a short illness.

A daughter of David M. and Elizabeth Richards Williams, she was born October 14, 1874 in Salt Lake City. An active member of the L. D. S. Church, she received her education in the St. John schools. She was married to Parley Morgan Richards, August 23, 1893 in Malad and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan L.D.S. Temple. Mr. Richards died Dec. 9, 1954.

Surviving are four sons and one daughter: Robert Lyle Richards, Ogden; Thomas Earl Richards, Bremerton, Washington; Franklin D. Richards, Myrtle Point, Oregon; Reed R. Richards, Couer d’Alene, Idaho; Mrs. Edward (Ruby) Foglesong, Wendover, Utah; 18 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.

Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Thursday evening and Friday prior to the services.

Burial will be in the Malad City Cemetery directed by the Benson Funeral Home.
