Married to William Henry Richards Sept. 14, 1916, Logan, Utah Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Active in LDS church, served mission to Hawaiian Islands 1953-55; in Relief Society, Primary, MIA, Sunday School, Genealogy work. Member, Ladies Literary Club; active in 4-H Club; Red Cross. Survivors; husband; son, daughters, Ralph J., Temple View, New Zealand; Mrs. Milton A. (Marjorie) Madsen, Logan; Mrs. Grant C. (Ella Mae) Moon, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. O. D. Services Friday For Mrs. Richards

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday at the Malad Fourth Ward LDS Chapel for Mrs. Margaret Annie John Richards, 64, who died 10:15 p.m. Monday in the Oneida Hospital of a heart ailment.

Mrs. Richards was born November 10, 1899, at Portage, Box Elder County, Utah, a daughter of Thomas Parley and Annie Wells John.

She was married to William Henry Richards September 14, 19196 in the Logan Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Mrs. Richards received her education in the Portage schools. Being an active member of the L. D. S. Church, she and her husband served a mission for the church in the Hawaiian Islands 1953-55. She was a teacher and executive officer in the Relief Society, Primary, M.I.A., Sunday School and Genealogy, and at the time of her death she was Relief Society second counselor in the Fourth Ward.

She was a leader of 4-H clubs for 16 years and all but one of her 161 members completed all activities. She also served as county chairman of the home demonstration council, was a Red Cross worker and a member of the Ladies Literary Club.

Survivors include her husband, Malad; one son and three daughters; Ralph J. Richards, Temple View, New Zealand; Mrs. Milton A. (Marjorie) Madsen, Logan, Utah; Mrs. Grant C. (Ella Mae) Moon, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. O. D. (Anna Marie) Perkes, Afton, Wyoming;

15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers and 5 sisters: Asael John, Mrs. LaVerne (Rosella) Smith, and Mrs. Carl (Lorraine) Isaacson, all Malad City; DeMour John, Eagle, Idaho; Mrs. Vern (May) Muir, Logan, Utah; Mrs. David (Phillis) Evans, Gooding; Mrs. Leon (Ethel) Smith, Camarillo, Calif..

Friends may call at Benson Funeral Home Thursday after 4 p.m. and Friday prior to service. Services will be under the direction of Bishop J. A. Servoss and Benson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Malad Cemetery.
