LOUVISA FAE JENKINS RICHARDS

Services Tuesday For Mrs. Richards

Funeral services were held at the Malad Third Ward Chapel Tuesday for Mrs. Louvisa Fae Jenkins Richards, 56, who died September 30th [1962] at the Oneida County Hospital after a long illness. Counselor Royal B. Jensen, officiated.

At the home, the family prayer was offered by Golden Willie. At the chapel, the organ prelude and postlude music was played by Ruth C. Davis. Invocation was offered by LaMar Thomas. The obituary was given by Royal B. Jensen and speakers were Bishop Hubert Gleed and Dr. Thomas W. Richards. A vocal duet was sung by June Crowther and Norma Gleed and a vocal solo by Jenkin L. Palmer. Accompanist was Ruth Davis. Benediction was given by James B. Jones.

Concluding rites were conducted at the Malad City Cemetery where the dedicatory prayer was offered by Raiford Benson.

Flowers were arranged and carried by the Third Ward Relief Society. Casket bearers were Lynn Jenkins, Lloyd Jenkins, Frank Jenkins, Delbert Jenkins, Farrell Jenkins and Israel Merrill.

Mrs. Richards was born September 1, 1906 at Malad, a daughter of Eustace and Louvisa Lusk Jenkins.

She was married to Thomas Clifford Richards, December 7, 1927, at Malad and was an active member of the LDS Church. She lived in Blackfoot from 1953 to 1961.

Survivors include her husband, Malad; one son, Gerald Richards, Shelley; one daughter, Mrs. Darhl Hughes, Blackfoot, six grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Houston Jenkins, Rexburg; Lewis Jenkins and Mrs. Martha Bennett, both of Malad.
