Funeral Saturday for Marion D. Monson, 37

Funeral services were held Saturday at Granger, Utah for Marion D. Monson, 37, who died of a heart attack Oct. 7, 1964 while at work at Kennecott Bingham mine. He was an industrial engineer.

Mr. Monson was born June 2, 1927 at Pocatello to Louis D. and Lula Jones Monson. He married Allee Woodbury Oct. 17, 1951 in the Salt lake City LDS Temple. He earned his master’s degree in engineering at the University of Utah and had served in the Great Lakes LDS mission field. He is survived by the widow; four sons and daughters, Douglas Marion, Dean, Brent, Linda Kay, Elaine Ann, all of Granger; stepmother, Mrs. Bessie MaDell, Granter; three sisters and two brothers, Mrs. J. Clifford (Thelma) Jones, Malad; Mrs. Ross H. (Amelia) Marsh, Mrs. Robert E. (Mary) Glade, Salt lake; Louis D. Jr., Midvale; Leon Kearns.
