FUNERAL MONDAY FOR MRS. MONSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Isabelle Noble Monson, 86, who died February 3, 1965 were held Monday at 1 p.m. at the St. John LDS chapel with Bishop James Madson officiating.

The family prayer at the Benson Funeral Home was by Gordon Crowther.

At the chapel the speakers were Bishop Madson and J.D. Price; tribute and obituary, Dana S. Benson; prelude and postlude, Lysle Deschamps; invocation Mitchell Deschamps; benediction, LaMar Thomas; vocal trio, Helen Jones, Miriel Dredge, Wanda Edwards, accompanist was Cherrell Budge.

The concluding rites were at the St. John cemetery with Joe Willes offering the dedicatory prayer.

Casket bearers were Leon Monson, James Yearsley, Joe Willes, Khalil Monson, Delwyn Smith, Don Clark.

Mrs. Monson was born Nov. 16, 1879 at Paisley, Scotland, to Donald and Isabelle Henderson Noble. She married Ephraim Monson, March 4, 1896 at St. John. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple march 3, 1897.

Mr. Monson died Feb. 23, 1930.
She came to the United States in 1891. She was an active member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include three sons, Donald A. Monson, Max R. Monson and Wendell h. Monson, all of St. John; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Melba) Yearsley, Mrs. John (Eva) Sterling and Mrs. Homer (Isobel) Irvin, all of Pocatello; 10 grandchildren; brothers Donald Noble, St. John and Alan Noble, Salt lake City; sisters Mrs. Aleen Mills, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Jessie Lusk, Pocatello; Mrs. Agnes Makin and Mrs. May Aston, both of American Fork, Utah.
