Donald A. Monson Funeral Wednesday

Funeral Services for Donald Andrew Monson, age 68, who died Sunday, Oct. 13, 1966 of a long illness, in the Oneida Hospital were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the St. John LDS Ward chapel with Counselor Eugene Edwards officiating.

Mr. Monson was born March 21, 1898, at St. John, a son of Ephraim and Isabella Noble Monson.

He married Elizabeth Richards in 1942 and they were later divorced.

He was a member of the LDS church and a former employee of the Union Pacific railroad.

Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Donald Monson, Jr., Portland, Oregon, Ronald Monson, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Betty Reese, Mountlake Terrace, Washington and Maxine Sergent, Portland, Oregon; 16 grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters: Max R. and Wendell H., St. John; Mrs. Ralph (Melba) Yearsley, Mrs. John (Eva) Sterling, Mrs. Homer (Isobel) Irvin, Pocatello.

Burial was at the St. John cemetery under the direction of the Benson Funeral Home.
