SERVICES SCHEDULED FRIDAY FOR MRS. MARIE J. THOMAS

Funeral services will be conducted Friday in the Malad Stake Building for Mrs. Marie Jones Thomas, 61, who died at the Oneida Hospital January 14, 1964 of a long illness. Bishop Lon W. Corbridge will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Thomas was born December 11, 1902 at Malad, a daughter of David W. and Maria Williams Jones.

She married Steven G. Thomas November 6, 1940 at San Francisco, CA. She received her education in the Malad City schools, was a member of the Reorganized LDS Church and the Fine Arts Club.

Survivors include her husband, Malad; five brothers, Leland D. Jones, LaVerne L. Jones, Brig W. Jones, all of Malad; David W. Jones, San Pedro, CA; Ray W. Jones, San Carlos, CA.

Family prayer at the home was by Jarvis E. Johnson. At the services at the chapel, the speakers were Bishop Corbridge, Elder Cecil Gilmore of the Reorganized LDS Church, Boise, and Ralph W. harding. Musical numbers were a vocal solo, Jenkin L. Palmer; vocal duet, Norma Gleed and June Crowther; vocal solo, Eldon Corbridge; invocation, Reed Stoddard; benediction, Elder Everett Aldridge; prelude and music was by Myra Jean John who was also the accompanist.

The concluding rites were at the malad City Cemetery with scripture reading by Elder Everett Aldridge. Dedicatory prayer was by Elder Cecil Gillmore.

Casket bearers were Fay J. Evans, Lamont Jones, Leland A. Jones, Farrell Jones, Jarvis E. Johnson, Jr., Ernest W. Jones, Ray W. Jones and Richard Jones.
