Margaret M. Nichols of Aberdeen passed away March 16, 2009 at Harms Memorial hospital in American Falls, Idaho.
She was born May 25, 1923 to Arthur and Gainor Evans Mitchell in Malad, Idaho. Margaret came into this world with her twin sister and best friend, Mary Ann. Mary preceded her in death in December of 2004.
Margaret married Lynn B. Jensen. They had three children, Roger and Connie Lynn, who both died a short time after birth, also a son, Mitchell Tad Lynn and Margaret later divorced.
She married Eugene (Corky) Nichols and became stepmother to his four children, Peggy, Cass, Dixie and Terri, which she loved dearly.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing cards, her friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Corky Nichols of Aberdeen, her son, Mitchell Tad (Tamrya) Jensen of Bancroft; stepchildren, Cass Nichols f Las Vegas, Nev., Dixie Montgomery of Blackfoot, Idaho, Terri Walker of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, also her two nephews that were as close to her as her own children. Ted (Molly) Barnes of Bancroft and Robert (Cheryl) Barner, Idaho Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Mary Ann Reed and Zelma Mitchell, stepdaughter, Peggy Nichols.
Graveside services will be held at noon, March 21, 2009 at the Bancroft Cemetery in Bancroft, Idaho. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Rose Mortuary, American Falls, Idaho.
