Funeral Services For L. L. Reese

Funeral services for Lorenzo [Louis] Reese, 74, who died at the home of his daughter Thursday, [February 19, 1942] were at the stake tabernacle Monday afternoon. Bishop LeGr* Horsley, of Malad Th* ward L. D. S. church, in ch****.

Speakers included: Th* W. Richards, H. Mabey and * N. Hill. Musical numbers were furnished by St. John trio, accompanied by ***ma Spencer Ward, vocal solo Blodwin Price, accompanied Mrs. Ward and a vocal solo Jenkin Palmer accompanied by Phyllis Palmer Jones. The invocation was offered by Leo O. ****liams of Cherry Creek and the benediction was by the Reverend ***er of the Presbyterian church.

Mr. Reese was born on March [19,] 1868 in Wales and came to United States with his parents 1871. On March 18, 1887 he married to Elva Daniels of M**** by Bishop George Stuart of ** D. S. church. To this union * children were born.

Mr. Reese was employed at Indian agency in Pocatello at time of his marriage and the couple made their home there. They *ed the first house built on the reservation on what is now the *side of Pocatello. Mr. Reese lived in various parts of the since that time., having resided Idaho, Montana, Ariz., and Calfornia. They returned to Malad about 22 years ago and Mr. * has been engaged in a number of enterprise since that time.

Mr. Reese is survived by his * and four children, Louis ***, Cherry Creek; Mrs. Lillian , Malad; Mrs. Florence Tovey, *lad and Mrs. Laura Bowen, CCreek and the following b and sisters: Robert Reese, ham; Mrs. Joseph Jorgeson, I* Racheal Thomas, Malad; M** R. Wight, Elvira Blackburn, Reader and Mae Horsley, a*Brigham city and Ada Gray California.
